1) I chose an entrepreneur called Alfred, which comes from Kenya.

3) The first repayment is supposed to be made to lenders in May 2013 and he will give back 58.33$. He will repay monthly during a repayment term of 8 months.

ReplyDelete1) I chose an entrepreneur called Leonardo, which comes from the Philippines and owns an agricultural business, raising pigs.
ReplyDelete2) The project is based on raising money for Leonardo so that he can buy more vitamins and additional feed for his pigs. In this case he will have more money to send his 4 four children to school (one already goes – can afford only one child’s school costs).

The project is on the trading business. Koba will try to purchase, at wholesale prices, hygienic products, such as detergents and soaps and resell them for a profit

5) Why were you attracted to this borrower?
I was attracted to this burrower because as I was looking at the several categories, I wanted to help or donate the most to the people who can get a chance of building their own business, or entrepreneurship. Thus, Koba was the person who attracted me due to his situation of considered to be a "vulnerable poor" and in addition, not being able to have loads from his local credit providers due to his lack of experience in the business.

He also is married and has a child, which is probably what keeps him working hard every day, and these are characteristics about people which I truly find inspiring as the family is his reason to continue sweating and working.

I chose ANIVAL form Costa Rica
He wants to buy a Motorbike to bring fresh fruit to other people.
(i lost the page cant find him anymore) but, i remember that people raised him 26% of the total amount that is around one thousand dollars.
He will pay back the money by the delivery of fresh fruits, and he seems a good person that likes bikes ;)
