The overarching goal of Zen and his team is to bring back the normal use of gondolaz. Because there are thousands of tourists coming in for Venice, the Venetians are starting to decrease because of the overflow. The gondolaz are only used to for tourism. Zen thus decided to bring back the old gondolaz and make the people know that they can use the gondolaz for normal uses; like buying groceries or going to work.
2)How is crowd-sourcing providing the necessary tools for Zen and his team to be successful?
Crowd-sourcing is providing the necessary tools for Zen and his team to be successful because they would gain the money from the donation of several people, and also this might spread the word, and more and more Venetians would discover upon Zen's goal and this would eventually spread to Venice.
3)If Zen and his team were to raise the 2,500 euro – how would you recommend that they raise the capital (crowd-sourcing, equity or debt?) Why?
I would recommend to use as a method, equity and crowd-sourcing because with equity, then other sponsors and companies would help them, and get a percentage of the company, whether or not they would succeed, so there would be no debt. In addition, i would also use crowd-sourcing for back-up plans, or just to get more income, to have more people donate as much as possible for the company to actually succeed. It won't be easy, but once the sponsors start to be part of the company, it should flow faster and better.

  2. 1. What is the overarching goal of Zen and his team?

Zen and his team want to bring back the use of traghetto’s. In order to do this he wants to restore one of the damaged traghetto’s. Zen wants to restore traghetto’s for the use of the public, for stuff such as buying groceries or going to work. Zen realizes that this is necessary in order to keep the city thriving, because Venice is now simply a tourist city, with more and more tourists, and fewer locals.
    2. How is crowd-sourcing providing the necessary tools for Zen and his team to be successful?

Through a multitude of small to medium sized donations from a crowd-sourcing website called Buona Causa, Zen and his team has raised more than € 1,250. And this also shows that the people agree with his thought of revitalizing the locals of Venice.
    3. If Zen and his team were to raise the 2,500 euro – how would you recommend that they raise the capital (crowd-sourcing, equity or debt?) Why?

If they are able to raise the €2,500 they need, I would recommend that they continue using crowd sourcing in order to gain capital. I recommend this because I don’t think that many banks, or entrepreneurs would be willing to lend them money through equity or debt, because their project does not hold much of a chance to gain a lot of capital.

  3. 1) The overarching goal of Zen and his team is to bring the old use of gondolas. Today the gondolas are used only for tourist ppurposes, but Zen is trying to make the usage be like the ones in the old days - to go to the stores, work.
2)Crow sourcing is helping Zen collect the money he needs. The word is being spread around and more local people get to know about it.
3)I dont thing that companies would be willing to spend their money for something like this, however they can always try. I would still continue with crowd sourcing.

    1) the overarching goal of Zen and his team is to bring back the use of Gondolaz, which are constantly used today for tourists. Although Zen is trying to bring a change to this situation, and would like to make this usage be like the one that is was in past.
    2) crowd-sourcing helps Zen and is team to collect the money, as the word is breing spread always more so that peoople know about this.
3)Zen and his team could try to raise money even though I think that firms wouldn't spend or invest for something like this. This would result in continuing with crows sourcing.

  5. 1) the overarching goal of Zen and his team is to bring back the use of Gondolaz. The Zen though is trying to make a change to this situation because it wants it to be used as it was used in the past.
    2) crowd-sourcing is something that helps the Zen get and collect the money, and they want that the word spreads always more and more so that more people around the world know about it.
3)I would recommend equity, so that other companies could help them but they would get a percentage of the company, but if the fail they would not have debt.

  6. 1. Zen's major goal is to bring back gondola's in Venice. This is because he believes and feeld that Venice is becoming a city where only tourists visit, and nothing more. He would like to use gondola's not just for tourists but also for actual citizens and use them as a public transport to go to places, and make the city "work", become more thriving. He wants to bring back gondola's to use them more for the public as in actual usage rather than just for tourists to take pictures.

    2. Crowd-sourcing is providing the necessary tools for Zen and his team to be successful. He is raising more money and hsi idea/goal spreads even more. This also means that people agree with his thought of bringing back the original usage of gondola's.

    3. I personally recommend that they continue with crowd sourcing, because it is the one way in which he is sure of making some money. I do not believe that bankers or entrepreneurs will want to join and work with him simply because his idea dn project isn't goign to make a lot of money, at least the right amount of money that bankers look for. Therefore I believe Zen and his team should work hard and stick to crod sourcing. It is the most promising out of the options.

Zen's goal is to bring back the gondolas in venice not only for tourists but for all the citizens.
2)How is crowd-sourcing providing the necessary tools for Zen and his team to be successful?
Zen is raising money and his initiative is gaining popularity.
3)If Zen and his team were to raise the 2,500 euro – how would you recommend that they raise the capital (crowd-sourcing, equity or debt?) Why? This kind of initiative would be likely to raise money with crowd-sourcing.
