1) Yes, because google glass probably has the feature to recordo videos and take images without you necessarily knowing because they seem normal glasses.
ReplyDelete2) I think this device is the beginning of a new era of electronic devices. 20 years ago google glass could only be imagined in science fiction, now however it's true. Technology is advancing at an incredibly fast rate, maybe google glass is no going to be so famous, but the concept introduced by it will certainly have a future

ReplyDeleteYes, because Google Glass takes images and even makes videos in which you are recorded but maybe you don’t know or maybe you cannot stop the person from posting it on Facebook or any other social network where the photos would become public.
2) Do you think this is a device that has a future or is it just a novelty? Why?
Technology is evolving at a very fast rate. I think it doubles the speed of computers every 6 months. Maybe it will have a future and replace the actual smartphones because it does everything vocally and doesn’t require something to bring with you.

ReplyDeleteI don’t think that people using Google Glass around me without asking is an invasion of my privacy, because so long as I am not the target of their attention, but are rather in their way what right do I have to call it an invasion of my privacy. The same applies for phones and camera’s, if I am hanging out with my friends and I take a photo of them ore something with my IPhone and someone is in the background it wouldn’t be considered an invasion of privacy. If I did the exact same thing with Glass, it should also not be considered an invasion of privacy. Once, and only once, you become the target of their photo or video without your consent does this become an invasion of privacy. However that can be done with any cell phone or camera.
2) Do you think this is a device that has a future or is it just a novelty? Why?
I believe that technology such as Google Glass truly is the future, and a close one at that. Technology is constantly evolving, years ago cell phones were considered novelties due to their limited access, however now they are one of our most used pieces of technology. I believe that once more Google Glass is produced and the price goes down, we will begin to see a new era of technology.
1) Yes because google glass can record videos and take photos without your knowledge.

ReplyDeleteYes, I believe it is an invasion of privacy if poeple start using Google Glass around me wtihout asking because I need to grant my permission to them for having my face or ID posted into the internet publically. That is one problem Google will have to face as the cause of the major complaints; privacy concerns.

I think that this device has a future, in fact, people will be using it in our daily lives. However, in order to actualy have a success, Google will have to deal with a situation where either privacy concerns is neglected, or people somehow will be asking permissions to be part of the picture or video. In the near future, I believe Google Glass would also manage those who need glasses to see, and this would enhance the distribution of the product, which would allow people to take pictures as well as read with Google Glass. No longer will we be having iPods or mobile phones, but technologies that will be with you at all times, like Google Glass or something similar to it.
1. Yes, I strongly believe it is an invasion of privacy for various reasons. People can be around you and take a picture of video of you or your child and you won't even know; and you don't know what that person will do with your picture or video of you. It's illigle to post pcitures or videos of minors without their permission or parents permission on the internet. It is so simple and easy to take pictures and video with Google Glass that you can never tell. Though it is a grat invention I do believe it has many problems which come beside it, such as privacy not being respected.

I think Google Glass is a device with a great future in ront of it, because even though it goes against many basic human righst such as provacy, the fact that humans have been able to create and assemble such a device is just mind-blowing. I believe that with this device, and moe work put into it, over the course of 10 yeas it will be an extremely picotal device which will change humanity. I think the problem with Google Glass is that, despote its great future ahead of it, humans, as in society, just aren't ready to have one pair. People are capable of doing anythinga nd humans genrally aren't ready to take the responsibility of such a great device. The problem is that if it falls in the hands of teh wrong people, as much as it helps humans, Google Glass can also cause huge problems. If the pope's secretary got kicked out of position for having given newspapers information about the pope, than who can we trust these days? NO ONE. that is why Google must be very cautious because in their hands they hold one of humanities greatest inventions yet it can turn out to be humanities greatest disaster if it ends up in the hands of the wrong people.

Answers:
1) I think that google glass can invade privacy becuase it is able to take pictures and videos without having consense from people around you.
2)I think that this device will renew some aspects of today's technology. It will allow to access multiple functions such as emails, messages, pictures just by pronouncing it.THis device will operate in jobs and daily activities. Always more people will use them, and the first product that will come out will just be a start for google.
1.Do you think that it is an invasion of privacy if people use Google Glass around you without asking? If google glass is used in public spaces it is not an invasion of privacy but just bad manners. It is leagal to film of photograph people in public spaces. Instead in private and closed spaces it is an invasion of privacy as it would be if some one filmed you with a proper camera.

Google glass has a future. it represents another step in portabe technology and could represent the rist step in creating a glass computer or smartphone.
