    1) What did Mr. Dong’s story about his creation of Education in Sight show you about entrepreneurship (or reaffirm)? Explain
It shows that it is very difficult to create a business, even if it is non-profit, even more difficult if it is a non-profit organization because you need to find the funds in order to sponsor the organization, or if not you will not be able to make it sustainable. They started funding their campaign on Funry, which is a crowd funding website. For now the have set their goal to 20000 and now they have raised 17892 $. They also have 333 sub quarters and donors that give to their cause. The trick is that you need to have a very compelling story to tell and have to make a good vide, because the people can give you some money. This is not the long-term plan. In fact he aims at working with Curdle and Allis to get their nonprofit status so they can apply to foundations to get money. They also a vast and very well organized organization where they have teachers that teach in the school they want to cure as members of teach for America, so that they have relationships with the school, the faculty, the kids and their parents and the administrators. I also liked the book he counseled us: “Ready, fire and aim”. You need to fire first, so need to have actin first.

    2) Based on what he said, what other recommendations do you have for Mr. Dong and Education in Sight?
I think that in this video Mr. Dong told everything that I wanted to know about Education in Sight. He was thorough and answered to each question with enthusiasm and knowledge of what he was telling us. I think that he is and will be a very respectable person for his company.

    3) What other questions do you have for Mr. Dong or what would you like to find out more about?
Other questions that I have for Mr. Dong are how will you be able to get the sponsorship from Tom’s eyesight company? Another question is how do you test al these children according to their eyesight? When? I would like to find more about how the organization is sponsored even if he talked a lot and thoroughly about it.

  2. 1)What did Mr. Dong’s story about his creation of Education in Sight show you about entrepreneurship (or reaffirm)? Explain
Listening to Mr. Dong’s story about his creation of Education in Sight I understood that to create a business you need money, time and an organization. Especially money is the most important because you need to find the funds in order to launch the business, so money should be found before the organization starts to work on anything (a part from the project idea they have). Mr. Dong’s organization started by creating a crowd funding website called Funry and they raised 17,892$ and their goal was 20,000$. Mr. Dong in the video says that there are many tricks to start your own business and these are the ones I caught during the video: as an organization to launch your business you need a convincing and persuasive story, the organization needs to create a good, credible and high quality video so that people can see what you are working on and another very important trick is to have donations. While listening to the interview done to Mr. Dong by Mr. Fry, I also understood that to open and start a business as an organization it would be helpful to be well-connected with important people or organizations.

2)Based on what he said, what other recommendations do you have for Mr. Dong and Education in Sight?
Sincerely, I don’t have recommendations for Mr. Dong, because during the interview he was always ready and in fervor to answer to the question done by Mr. Fry and the students. Throughout the interview he also gave important information and data about the Education in Sight and all the things he said satisfied me.

3)What other questions do you have for Mr. Dong or what would you like to find out more about?
The questions I have are: Will it be difficult to find sponsorship from other big companies, such as Tom’s eyesight company? Also I would like to know if in this moment he sponsored? By whom? How is he being paid?

  3. 1. Throughout the video I understood many things about entrepreneurship, or better, the video confirms many facts about entrepreneurship which I knew about however never really knew if it was absolutely true. Mr. Dong went to China, saw a huge issue he is willing to work on and dedicate his life in order to try and improve this problem, of children not being able to see what's being written on the board. He says that some children were copying notes from their neighbors and/or after calss would walk up to the board and copy, because they could see. Entrepreneurship is very risky and hard, whether you are founding a profit or non-profit organization. Throughout the interview I understood that one must work hard, dedicate a lot of time and work in order to begin an organization. You must fund-raise and make sure that the idea is even possible, because as we know money is very important in terms of beginning an organization. Also, I learned that, as Mr. Dong said, it is a very good idea to have a co-founder by your side who is motivated and willing just like you to get the idea going. I also understood that in order to get people to help (donaters) you must do something which they will like, or get their attention in a very cool way, perhaps through a good video such as KONY 2012, which is a good example as even though their idea of helping "invisible children" in Africa had many negative things about it, their video was soo good that people barely noticed. Entrepreneurship is not easy, but through hard work, dedication, and your will, anything is possible.

    2. I don't really have any recommendations for Mr. Dong, throught the interview he seemed very prepared, answered every question without thinking twice about it, he knows what he's doing and I can see that his trip to CHina has truly changed his life, as he is now dedicating everything to this issue. The organizations is new, therefore not too many things have happened which have been huge, however I know that Mr. Dong is organized and has a plan he is following, also I know he will make an inspiring video for Education in Sight therefore it's time to wait and see what he will do next.

    3. I have a few questions for Mr. Dong: Was it is plan since highschool or university to become the founder of an organization? Out of all the other problems in the world, in China, such as poverty ect. why did he specifically choose to emphasize on the issue of irregular eyesight children have? Also, children are easily capable of loosing or breaking eyeglasses, how is he going to deal with that?

  4. 1) Watching Mr. Dong's interview and listening to what he said reaffirmed many facts about entrepreneurship I already knew. For example the main fact he reaffirmed was that to start a business you need a lot of: time, money, and dedication. Money and dedication definitely are the two most important in my opinion because you can have the money but no dedication and have dedication and no money. Mr Dong in order to start his business (Education in Sight) raised 17,892$ through a website called Funry. However I learned from Mr. Dong that there are numerous tricks such as: having a persuasive story, a good, credible story backed up by an effective video. I also learned from Mr. Dong that it is a very good idea to have a colleague or co-founder.
    2) I don't have any recommendations for Mr Dong as he seems very organized and knows exactly what he wants to do and where he wants to do it. Since the organization is still growing no major things have occurred, however I'm sure that this organization will create an effective video to back up their company and story.
    3)
    Question:
Did you ever think you would become the founder and owner/ CEO of an organization?
Have you ever thought of distributing rubber glasses so that they won't brake as easily?

  5. 1)What did Mr. Dong’s story about his creation of Education in Sight show you about entrepreneurship (or reaffirm)? Explain
Mr. Dong's story about his creation of Education in Sight reaffirmed me and taught me some of the facts about entrepreneurship. What Mr. Dong reaffirmed me about Entrepreneurship was the fact that whatever organization your doing, whether its non-profit, or profit, it is necessary for the founder to have dedication, time, money, motivation and organization. The root for making a business for most entrepreneurs is to fix a problem that he/she encountered, thus in this case, Mr. Dong seeing students not being able to see the board. Therefore it is necessary for every person who wants to start something, and throughout the process of creating this organization, to have organization, motivation and dedication. Yes, dedication includes motivation, however people have to be motivated in order to dedicate themselves fully into the organization. To always strive in moving forward. Entrepreneurship with Mr. Dong, has taught me that it is not necessary for the person to start the business to already know what your objectives or aims are going to be, because unless you start the business, and getting involved in business, you will never accomplish nor obtain any results from it. Thus it is like a sort of trial and error. In the start, it is necessary for the person to try out many ways and the most convincing or successful way will lead you to success. Another note that Mr. Dong made that reaffirmed my knowledge in the non-profitable organizations, is to always have a video to convince many others to be aware of this organization. If many people start watching these inspirational videos, many sponsors, many people will be willing or not to contribute in this organization. For it to be persuade many in joining, therefore it is necessary for somebody to have also skillful technical skills, and Mr. Dong recommended to have a co-founder so that both of the founders could work together using their both talented, different skills, in creating the organization. Lastly, Mr. Dong also taught me that in order to start a business it is necessary for the entrepreneur to be organized, so that everything may go smoothly. If there will be any problems encountering, an organized business will mostly likely to have more chances in resolving the problem than an unorganized person.

2)Based on what he said, what other recommendations do you have for Mr. Dong and Education in Sight?
I don't have any recommendations because of Mr. Dong's success in his non-profit organization. I believe this company will grow and expand even more, if the organization keeps up with their work, determination, and in completing their set of goals.

3)What other questions do you have for Mr. Dong or what would you like to find out more about?
    - Where do you work now?

The first step to the process is having the right idea, but probably the most important thing is having the initial money to start the business, in this case “Education in Sight”. 8. 1) Mr.Dong's story showed that to create a business is not that easy, and because it is a non-profit organization, it is more difficult. It is important for a non-profit organization to find the needed funds that can sponsor it and mantain it. Mr.Dong started by raising $17,892 through Funry and spent it to solve a problem that he saw in China. It is also imporatant to have good tricks in mind while starting a business. For example, having a persuasive story and an effective story are very imporatant. It is also important to work with other people, so you don't have to worry about everything.
    2) I don't have specific recommendations for Mr.Dong. He seemed prepared and very organize during the video. He knows what he is doing and he is very dedicated to the organization.
3)The questions that I have for Mr.Dong is that children can easily break the glasses, so how is he going to solve this problem. And where there times where the organization did'nt have enough funds to continue the organization? If so, how did he solve this problem?

  9. 1. Mr. Dong’s interview taught me that in order to create a successful entrepreneurial project, especially a social one, time, funds, and diligence is needed. Time is needed because when building a company because you most likely need to find the funds and create a business plan. Finding funds is a crucial part of starting up a non-profit organization because there are many charities so it is hard to attract donators and sponsors. So it is crucial that your company will create a lot of visible good, and has a clear and concise video to pitch your idea and gain backup. Also I learnt that one really needs to be devoted in their company, because if you were building a company without devotion you would most likely end up loosing sponsors. Through this interview with Mr. Dong I learnt that all of the above components are all necessary in being an entrepreneur, also I learnt that it doesn’t hurt to have a good partner to help you out.

    2. I can’t think of any recommendations for Mr. Dongs company. This is because Mr. Dong really knew what he was talking about and answered each question with vigor. And I do believe that over time this company will grow and help more students.

    3. I do have a couple of questions however. What would you say is the most important part of being an entrepreneur? If your project is a non-profit one, how do you personally make ends meet? Being a founder of a charity/organization, how do you recruit people to help you?
